Australia registered lowest-ever score and suffered fifth consecutive series defeat
Australia faced one more loss in T20 format of game. Bangladesh registered an historic win over Australia in fifth and final match of 5-match series held on 9, August, Monday at Shere Bangla National stadium, Dhaka.
Australia was supposed to chase the target of 123 runs but all players were dismissed at 62 only. With this Australia registered lowest-ever score and suffered fifth consecutive series defeat. Bangladesh achieved a victory with big margin of 60 runs.
Australia lost 5-match series 1-4.
Bangladesh won the toss and took decision of batting first.

The start was fine for Bangladesh with openers. Mehedi Hasan and Naim.
Mehedi Hasan smashed 13 runs in `12 balls with the help of 2 fours.
Naim became highest scorer for Bangladesh and gave the contribution of 23 runs in 23 balls with 1 six and 1 four.
Shakib al Hasan hit 11 runs in 20 balls and Soumya Sarkar hit 16 runs with 18 balls with the help of 1 four and 1 six.
Mahmudullah contributed 19 runs in 14 balls with the help of 1 six.
Nurul Hasan and Afif Hossain smashed 8 and 10 runs respectively.
Mosaddek Hossain gave the small contribution of 4 runs.
Nathan Ellis and Christian tried hard to resist Bangladesh Batsmen and grab 2 wickets each.
Bangladesh made the total score of 122 runs with the fall of 8 wickets.
Australia Innings :
Opener Daniel Christian did not gave a fine start to Australia as he was dismissed by Nasum Ahmed after scoring only 3 runs.
Only two out of 11 batsmen were able to score in double digits.
Captain Matthew Wade scored 22 runs in 22 balls with the help of 2 six. Ben McDermott played a fine knock of 17 runs, including 1 six in 16 balls.
Mitchell Marsh managed to score only 4 runs in 9 balls.
Alex Carey and Moises Henriques , both contributed only 3 runs each.
Only one run each came out of bat of three players- Ashton Turner, Nathan Ellis and Mitchell Swepson.
At the end Adam Zampa make the score of 4 runs in 3 balls, which was not sufficient to make Australia win.
All the players were out after scoring only 62 runs. With this , Australia registered lowest-ever score and suffered fifth consecutive series defeat.
