On Wednesday, June 23(day 6) Kane Williamson led New Zealand beat Virat Kohli led India by 8 wickets in inaugural of World Test Championship played at Ageas Bowl, Southampton.
2 years back, International Cricket Council has done a new addition in the field of cricket which is World Test Championship.
All the countries with new vigor and spirit of winning, started the big battle but one two teams were able to reach the finals of WTC. Cricket fans, experts, players from all around the world were eagerly waiting for the finals of WTC. All have put their fingers crossed till the result of the match.
Dilemma was there regarding the result of match as the rain irrupted in between on first and fourth day. It was difficult to make any prediction about the result of the match.
Because of unfavorable weather conditions three reserved sessions were also kept.
Team India was able to manage the score of 170/10 his second innings. Target of 139 runs was set for New Zealand and New Zealand excellently performed to score 140 runs for 2 wickets in 45.5 overs. Thus New Zealand registered the hilarious victory by 8 wickets.
Finally the time for celebration has come for New Zealand and they had a whale of time.

Tim Southee, Trent Boult, Colin de Grandhomme, Tom Latham were seen jumping in excitement and joy.
