Virat Kohli Reprimanded as he has breached code of conduct:
Captain of Royal Challengers Bangalore, Virat Kohli is reprimanded as he has breach IPL code of conduct while playing the IPL 2021 match against Sunrisers Hyderabad MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai, on Wednesday, at. Virat Kohli is admitted to the Level 1 offence 2.2 of code of conduct of IPL which is related to “Abuse of cricket equipment or clothing, ground equipment or fixtures and fittings during a Match”.
While playing the match, Kohli was not at his fluent best in the match and dismissed for 33 off 29 balls by Jason Holder. While walking off the field, Virat Kohli hit an advertising cushion on the boundary with his bat.
“Mr Kohli admitted to the Level 1 offence 2.2 of the IPL’s Code of Conduct. For Level 1 breaches of the Code of Conduct, the Match Referee’s decision is final and binding,” the IPL said in the statement.
In the match Royal Challengers Bangalore registered victory in a nail-biting match.
SRH was chasing the target of 150 to win. 83-run partnership between David Warner and Manish Pandey was very helpful for Sunrisers Hyderabad.
But the match was completely inverted when Shahbaz Ahmed took three wickets in an over and removed Jonny Bairstow, Manish Pandey and Abdul Samad.
