Many players leave PSL 2021:
West Indies cricketer, Andre Russell made his debut in the Pakistan Super League on Friday, June 11.
He played for Quetta Gladiators against Islamabad United in the game played at the Sheikh Zayed Cricket Stadium , Abu Dhabi.
Andre Russell’s debut appearance in PSL 2021 did not work according to the plan because he became concussed on delivery by Muhammad Musa.
Thus, the decorated all-rounder was ruled out from the rest of the match as well as next match of Gladiators against Peshwar Zalmi held on Saturday.
But now it has been reported that Andre Russell has been ruled out of the remainder of the tournament.
On Tuesday, just before the match of Quetta Gladiators against Lahore Qalandars, it was informed that Zahoor Khan has replaced Andre Russell for rest of the tournament.
With an hour of inclusion into the Quetta Gladiators squad, the right-arm fast-medium was handed his debut PSL cap and he found a place in the team’s Playing XI.
Though, Zahoor was not able to perform very well, he scripted history as he became the first cricketer of UAE to play in a world-leading T20 franchise game.
The 32-year-old has played 19 One Day Internationals as well as 22 T20 Internationals for the United Arab Emirates. He picked up 34 wickets in one Day Internationals and 27 wickets in T20 Internationals at an economy rate of 5.80 and 6.34 respectively.
Many players leave PSL 2021 as three overseas players of Peshawar Zalmi – David Miller, Fabian Allen, and Fidel Edwards’ will not be participate in remainder of Pakistan Super League 2021.These players will go back to their own nation in order to perform their international duties.Thus , many players leave PSL 2021.
