Other champions of Chennai Super Kings, Faf du Plessis and Moeen Ali were out on duck. Ambati Rayudu got retired without contributing even a single run.
Captain, MS Dhoni was also not in form and managed to score only 3 runs.

Ravindra Jadeja’s performance was quite fine comparably as he smashed 26 runs in 33 balls.
Bravo also tried hard and made 23 runs in 8 balls.
Talking about bowling side; Boult , Milne and Bumrah picked up 2 wickets each.

Mumbai Indians’ innings of match 30 of IPL 2021:
Chasing total, Mumbai India were not seen energetic and steady.
Opener, Quinton de Kock made 17 runs in 12 balls with the 3 fours. Another opener Anmolpreet Singh smashed 16 runs in 14 balls with the help of 2 four and 1 six. Both the openers were dismissed by Deepak Chahar.
Suryakumar Yadav did not score much and dismissed by Thakur after scoring 3 runs in 7 balls.
Ishan Kishan managed to hit the score of 11 runs in 10 balls with the help of 1 four as soon he was dismissed by DJ Bravo.
Saurabh Tiwary was seen performing drastically well and hit a fifty. He tried to make his team win till the end but his efforts went in vain.
Captain, Kieron Pollard hit 14 runs in 15 balls with the help of 1 four and 1 six.
Krunal Pandya did not contributed much but only 4 runs in 5 balls.
Adam Milne was also able to score only 15 runs including 1 six.
DJ Bravo was proved excellent bowler as he picked up 3 wickets and gave away 26 runs in 4 overs.
Thus the team was finished at the score of 136/6, losing the match by 20 runs.
With the victory in this match, CSK has reached to the first position in team standings.

CSK became the second team of IPL who lost the first four wickets for 24 or fewer runs while batting first and achieved victory after that. First team is Sunrisers Hyderabad who lost 4 wickets with the hit of 17 rums while playing against PWI in Pune in 2013 and achieved victory by 11 runs.
Mumbai Indian’s stats made in match 30 of IPL 2021
It happened only for the second time that MI lost the match while chasing a target of less than 160 runs since the start of 2014. In 2018, MI failed to chase the target of 119 runs against SRH.
MI lost the match because of failure in achieving the target and it happened for the first time in 12 matches played by the team.
