Black Caps posted an image of Southee’s jersey with autograph of 15 members of New Zealand squad on official Twitter handle and shared the information that Southee is auctioning his jersey which he worn while playing WTC final to raise funds for Hollie Beattie’s cancer medical needs.

Tim Southee auctions his WTC 2021 final jersey and also posted picture of the T-shirt on Instagram along with the information that the funds raised will be given to 8-year-old girl who his battling with cancer. He also informed the way to bid the jersey as well as to help Beattie.
“Hey guys, I am auctioning off one of my shirts from the @icc World Test Championship Final to support @hopeforhollie. All proceeds from the auction will go to the Beattie family,” Southee added the caption.
Southee appreciated the strength and positive attitude of little girl and her family with which they are fighting with dangerous disease.
“My family first learnt about Hollie’s story a couple of years ago through the cricket community and I have always been struck by the Beattie family’s perseverance, strength and positive attitude. Since hearing that Hollie required more treatment, I have been trying to find a way to support in some small way,” he stated.
“I am hopeful that this shirt can help contribute in someway to the Beattie family’s ongoing medical needs as Hollie continues to fight. As a parent my heart goes out to them as they battle on. Any bid big or small is greatly appreciated!” Southee added.
Southee has proved himself a good player in finals of WTC and now he is proving himself a good human.
He also urged his fans to bid on the jersey in order to give contribution for a moral cause.
