David Warner has registered records while being the captain of Sunrisers Hyderabad in the Indian Premier League.
In 2016, he also took the team to its maiden title. After 2016, Sunrisers Hyderabad was not able to win but they managed to reach the playoffs in all the seasons from IPL 2017 to IPL 2020.
However, David Warner, Sunrisers Hyderabad was unable to show a good performance in IPL 2021. They managed to win only one out of 7 matches of IPL 2021 and were languishing at the last place on the points table.
SRH’s team management took the decision of replacing Warner with Kane Williamson because of the poor performance of the team in IPL 2021.
Warner was also drop out from Orange Army Playing XI in the last match played by the franchise in IPL 2021.
Warner managed to score only 193 runs at a strike rate of 110 in 6 matches played by him in IPL 2021.
Now the venue for the remainder of IPL 2021 is the United Arab Emirates and Sunrisers Hyderabad will be starting with new positive energy and hope.
However, it is not certain whether Warner will be a part of SRH for the remaining matches of IPL 2021 as he will be busy in playing for Australia in international cricket.
